The U16/U18 team came together this spring to forge a team of players who are dedicated to a sport they love. Their devotion to hockey was evident in every game. Each game was played with fervor. Many have formed friendships that will last a life time. Good luck to each player next fall as they move on to play with their high school, and travel teams!
Our Bantam team capped off the spring season with a strong showing in the B Bracket of the Cherry Blossom Showdown. The team kicked off the tournament Thursday, beating the MD Machine, 6-2. On Friday, the Polar Bears easily handled the NJ Protec Predators, 6-1. A midday tilt on Sunday saw the Bantams pull away from Navy with four, third period goals, to prevail 6-2. This earned them a spot in Sunday's semifinal, where they would match-up against the Richmond Generals. In a hard-fought and tight checking game, the Polar Bears scored with 4:15 remaining to tie the game, 2-2, only to come up short with 1:21 remaining in OT. During this tournament, the Bantams received strong goal tending from Zack Ciucci and Gabe Wyant, giving up only 8 goals in four games. They played great team defense, and demonstrated incredible unselfishness in the offensive zone, with 13 skaters finding their way on the score sheet over the four day tournament.

The Squirt A team had a great weekend at the Cherry Blossom Showdown. They made it all the way to the semifinals, but fell to Red Line. We could not be more proud of how all our kids played!
The Squirt B team played hard over the weekend. They came together as a team and showed great sportsmanship. The team took first in the Cherry Blossom Showdown, with a final record of 4-0-0!
