Freeze Fees Announced for the 2017-18 Season: Fees Remain Stable Again

At the April 24 Freeze Board of Directors meeting, the Board approved the Freeze 2017-18 working budget which includes the upcoming season’s fee structure.  The Board is proud to announce that despite rising costs and increased ice needs, we have again been able to maintain our existing rates and even reduce some costs for our membership, as the off-ice training costs at The Sanctuary (formerly FIT) have gone down.

Over the past several years our program has experienced enormous growth at the youngest levels and success at the highest levels.   The club’s laser focus on player development at all levels combined with off-ice fitness at the higher levels has provided a very solid foundation for the club.  It has helped the club challenge for and win championships in the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League, the Eastern Juniors Elite Prospects League and even a trip to the USA Hockey National Championships a few short years ago.  In addition to the collective success of the club, our development model has helped many recent players advance to both Tier I youth hockey and junior hockey with teams such as Team Maryland, the Islanders Hockey Club, the Potomac Patriots and the Central Penn Panthers.  Others have gone on to play college hockey. The success of our players and teams exemplifies the dedication and skill of our entire club, especially our hockey director and his excellent coaching staff.

We are excited about what we have achieved but even more excited about how our future looks.  Those of you that are already a part of our family, thank you for your commitment to the Freeze. For those considering our club, welcome to the Freeze and thank you for considering our ever-growing family.
